The first ring I made that everyone wanted to buy was made with Koa wood from Hawaii. I was extremely lucky to have spent 11 years of my life living on the island of Oahu. It's where I met my family, it's where I met friends who became family, and it's where, on a random day in May, I made my first ever ring in my garage, and the dream of Legier's Woodshop began. Hawaii, and her people, will always be held close to my heart. Every time I make a ring featuring Koa wood, I think back to those days in my garage, and I am reminded of how far I have come. No matter how big we get, I still see myself as that guy just trying to make a beautiful ring for someone in his shop.
